Asbury Giving 2015
One of the great joys of life and ministry is to see how God is deploying the 10,000 plus Asbury Seminary Alumni across the globe. Just in the past couple of months during leadership events in Kenya and India I have had the privilege of seeing no less than 11 of our alumni deployed as pastors, professors, and missionaries. All are spirit-filled leaders who God is using greatly to transform the hurting and hopeless with the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Did you know that of our 10,000 plus Alumni, only about 13% give back financially to further the cause of Christ by supporting the Seminary? I think because Asbury is a special place that had made a special impact on so many that we can do better than that this year. I am inviting you to join me and the Alumni Council in advancing the cause of Christ, and put a stake in the ground, by investing in current and incoming students by making a generous financial donation today. Our target is to encourage 200 new giving alumni to join the 1300 that have faithfully invested in our great movement over the next 12 months. We know that God has called us to something marvelous and that God is using Asbury to train and equip well those whom God is calling all over the world. Join me today and invest by making an initial gift to grow God’s Kingdom. You will be glad you did and God will bless you in your generosity to grow God’s Kingdom.
